The "Support for electric vehicle charging infrastructure and hydrogen refuelling infrastructure"  Priority Programme was implemented with the aim of reducing the number of vehicles emitting CO2 and NOx and thus improving air quality. Within the framework of non-refundable forms of funding, approximately PLN 2 billion were allocated for this purpose.
The programme focused over the construction of charging stations with a capacity of no less than 22 kW, other than a publicly available charging station, as well as the creation of charging points with a capacity of no less than 22 kW, exclusively for own needs. Support was also provided for the construction and reconstruction of publicly available charging stations with a capacity of no less than 50 kW, in which at least one point enables the provision of direct current charging services and has a capacity of no less than 50 kW), as well as the construction or reconstruction of publicly available hydrogen stations, enabling the supply of hydrogen on the basis of equal treatment to every owner of a vehicle using electricity generated from hydrogen in the fuel cells installed in it.
