Municipal incentive scheme for wind power expansion

To encourage municipalities to approve new wind power projects and compensate those that have already hosted such developments, the government proposes financial support equivalent to the property tax revenue generated by wind power in the municipality. The initiative is budgeted at USD 32 million (SEK 340 million) for 2025 and USD 35 million (SEK 370 million) in 2026.
