Zambia Integrated Mining Information System (ZIMIS)

Zambia launched the Zambia Integrated Mining Information System (ZIMIS) on February 27, 2025 as a digital platform for stakeholders to undertake all mining-related transactions, including applications for mining and non-mining rights, payment of area charges and submission of statutory reports. ZIMIS seeks to increase transparency, streamline mining licencing, reduce corruption and enhance inter-agency collaboration.
