EU funds for Charging Infrastructure- Spain

Spain has secured €72.7 million in EU funding under the 2024 Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) to expand its alternative fuels infrastructure. Eight business projects approved by the Ministry of Transport will receive support to install 589 electric charging points (150–350 kW), build 26 green hydrogen stations, and decarbonize ports in the Trans-European Transport Network. These grants will help mobilize nearly €400 million in sustainable, low-emission transport investments across Spain.
