Turkish rail infrastructure

Turkey's 2024 rail programme included TL49.4 billion for infrastructure manager's capital expenditure, covering high-speed lines, electrification, signalling, and civil works. Additionally, TL11 billion is allocated for repairing earthquake damage, and TL10.4 billion for vehicle purchases and refurbishments. In 2025, Turkey's rail sector received 305 billion TL (€8.2 billion) in funding.
