Critical information infrastructure operators, which would include the energy sector, are responsible for ensuring the cybersecurity of their systems, complying with government requirements, and reporting incidents to relevant authorities. They must also appoint responsible personnel, test response plans, and support the National Cyber Security Centre in implementing security measures.
