Subsidies for the industrial value chain of renewable energies and storage

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has published the regulatory bases for aid to the renewable energy and storage industrial value chain. The program aims to boost Spain's strategic manufacturing capacity for solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, batteries, electrolysers, and essential components. With €750 million from the PRTR, it will strengthen Spain's renewable energy equipment ecosystem, develop new technological and industrial capacities, and ensure energy security, competitiveness, and industry decarbonization.
