The Greek Government will implement a €100 million subsidy package to protect households and around 1.3 million small businesses from rising wholesale electricity prices. The planned subsidy, expected to be €0.10 per kilowatt-hour, will be finalized once energy providers announce December’s green tariffs.

Environment and Energy Minister stated that the government’s objective is to maintain electricity prices for households and small businesses below €0.15 per kilowatt-hour.
