Investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy usage, and the inclusion of energy-poor households in energy communities (cooperatives) are set to be carried out by 2026. The Eco Fund, a state agency, will oversee the implementation of these measures. It plans to launch a EUR 5 million public call targeting energy-poor households.

Eligible households will be able to receive incentives of up to EUR 18,000 for various improvements, such as thermal insulation of roofs and facades, installation of energy-efficient windows, and replacing old heating systems with new wood biomass-based ones.
