ACT No. 44/1988 Coll. on the protection and utilization of mineral resources

The Act sets the policy framework for the exploitation and protection of minerals in Slovak Republic, including coal, crude oil and flammable natural gas. Extraction requires the obtention of a permit from the District Mining Authority.
