Proclamation no. 295/1986: Ethiopian Petroleum Operations Proclamation

Article 5 of the proclamation sets that the Government may undertake petroleum activities through contractors with a petroleum agreement. Article 20 provides for the Minister to require contractor to supply crude oil from their share of production to the Government for domestic consumption.
