Law No. 21-90 relating to the research and exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits (Hydrocarbons Code)

The Hydrocarbons Code provides with the framework for petroleum activities in Morocco. It includes licences and special permits of up to 20 years for the research and exploitation of oil, of which less than 25% of the operating fields must belong to the State.
