Solar Panel Scheme

Exemption on import duty and sales tax on the import of solar panels, inverters, and other related equipment. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the setting up of 2000 megawatts of solar power projects in the public sector. The federal government has also decided to install solar power panels on all government buildings in the country to harness green energy and reduce dependency on imported fossil-fuel based power.
