Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund

The Irish Government announced the establishment of a new fund, the Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund, in Budget 2024. The intention is that the legislation underpinning the establishment of the Fund will be enacted before the Summer Recess. Through the ICNF, funding of up to €3.15bn will be made available for designated environmental projects over the period 2026 to 2030. Designated environmental projects are defined in the legisation (link provided) and encompass projects which contribute to improved climate and environmental outcomes.
