Legislation on subsoil and subsoil use 

Companies in the extractive industries must allocate 1% of their total annual income to R&D. To improve accountability and transparency, this was updated in 2021 with a government decision to allocate the 1% directly to the state budget for allocation to projects by the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry.
