Fuel Regulation 2012

The Fuel Regulation set standards for fuel quality and mandates for the general substitution of fossil fuels with renewable energy as biofuels or renewable electricity plus an GHG reduction mandate for fuels brought on the Austrian market. The regulation was last amended in 2024, with an updated GHG reduction mandate of 13% in 2030.
