Government spending- Battery Energy Storage System

The Government of Latvia is earmarking spending in 2024 and 2025 to set up a new 60 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), in view of supporting the synchronisation of the Baltic States’ electricity networks with the Continental Europe one.
