Finland - REPowerEU

Finland expanded its Recovery and Resilience Plan with an additional chapter on Repower EU, endorsed by the EU Commission on 21 November 2023. The chapter is worth EUR 127.09 million.

Finland will allocate the funds as follows:

• speeding up permit procedures in a manner compatible with the regional government reform, EUR 32 million
• R&D and pilot projects relating to clean energy and material flows, EUR 40 million
• investments in the clean transition, EUR 54.5 million
• transition of Åland’s energy system, EUR 0.7 million.
