Electric Transport National Plan

Costa Rica's National Electric Transportation Plan (PNTE) aims to promote the transition towards a greater participation of renewable energies in the national energy grid. The plan seeks to boost the electrification of transportation in all its modes, aiming to improve air quality in urban areas and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
