GX Green Transformation Policy: Batteries

Under the energy spending for green transformation (GX),  Japan has set aside a total of 238.5 billion yen in FY2024 in the area of batteries, this includes: 
- Support for battery manufacturing supply chains: 230 billion yen
- Support for energy storage systems integration to expand renewable energy adoption: 8.5 billion yen
