Mexico - Clean Energies Trust Fund (FIEL)

On August 6, 2021, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) created the Clean Energies Trust Fund (FIEL). The main objective of the fund is to promote and help financed investment projects for clean energies in different sectors such as: 
- Hydropower 
- Acquisition of ongoing businesses in clean energies
- Geothermal projects and other clean energy technologies
- Photovoltaic projects
