Future Made in Australia Plan

On April 10, 2024, the Australian Prime Minister announced the Future Made in Australia plan, an industrial policy that aims to develop capacity in key industries, including sustainable finance, scientific research, information technology and clean energy manufacturing. The Future Made in Australia Act commenced on 10 December 2024 which legislated various functions under the Future Made in Australia plan including a National Interest Framework.
