Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

Export Control on Industrial Products and Raw Materials

In July 10 2023, the Indonesian government of the Republic updated its Export Policies and Regulations. .

Certain products can only be exported until 31 May 2024: 

  • Laterite iron concentrate (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with a content of ≥ 50% (more than or equal to fifty percent) Fe and ≥ 10% (more than or equal to ten percent) (Al2O3+SiO2)
  • Copper concentrate with a content of ≥ 15% (more than or equal to fifteen percent) Cu
  • Lead concentrate with levels ≥ 56% (more than or equal to fifty six percent) Pb
  • Zinc concentrate with a content of ≥ 51% (more than or equal to fifty one percent) Zn
  • Anode mud (anode slime)


Starting June 1 2024, certain industrial products which fall into the mining product category and whose raw materials come from imports and/or scrap in the form of metal can only be exported for research and development, re-export , and/or export purposes: 

  • Laterite iron concentrate (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with levels ≥ 50% (more than or equal to fifty percent) Fe and ≥ 10% (more than or equal to ten percent) (Al2O3+SiO2)
  • Copper (Cu) concentrate with levels ≥ 15% (more than or equal to fifteen percent)
  • Lead (Pb) concentrate with levels ≥ 56% (more than or equal to fifty six percent) 
  • Zinc concentrate with levels ≥ 51% (more than or equal to fifty one percent) Zn
  • Anode slime
