Territorial Just Transition Plan (TJTP) - coal phase-out

Slovak Republic committed to phase out coal by 2030 as part of their environmental policy strategy implemented in 2017. 
The electricity and heat generation from lignite ppower plant Nováky  ended on December 20, 2023. The Vojany power plant was decommissioned in March 2024.
