Sanitary norms and rules for the protection of atmospheric air in populated areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan (SanREN 0350-17)
Sanitary rules, norms and hygienic standards are documents that establish requirements in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, which are mandatory for compliance with state and other bodies, legal entities and individuals.
Sanitary requirements for the protection of atmospheric air (at the design stage) envisages creation of services for the operation of gas cleaning and dust collection facilities, the creation of laboratories to monitor the efficiency of treatment facilities, emissions into the atmosphere and the content of harmful substances in the zone of influence of the enterprise (para 3.3).
It is forbidden to increase the productivity of technological units, accompanied by an increase in the volume of exhaust gases or the concentration of harmful substances in them, without simultaneous reconstruction of gas and dust collection plants (para 5.1.2).
The minimum sanitary protection zone for facilities for the extraction and processing of oil, associated petroleum and natural gas is 1000 meters (para 6.1.1), as well as for places of transshipment and storage of liquid chemical cargoes from liquefied gases (methane, propane, ammonia, etc.) (para 6.6).
