Energy Transition Law (Law 2099 modifying Law 1715)
Previously approved by the Congress, the President of Colombia Iván Duque officially promulgated the Energy Transition Law. This law recognizes blue and green hydrogen as unconventional renewable energy sources (initially defined in Law 1715 and now expanded to cover hydrogen), allowing hydrogen projects to benefit from tax deductions, exemptions and fiscal incentives
