Saudi Green Initiative

The Saudi Green Initiative includes targets of: 1) Planting 10 billion trees in Saudi Arabia and 50 billion across the Middle East; 2) Cutting carbon dioxide emissions in the Middle East by 60%; 3) Increasing the share of renewable electricity to 50% by 2030; 4) Eliminating more than 130 MtCO2 emissions using clean hydrocarbon technology.
