Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

New power sector law (Law 14.120/2021)

Approved executive order (MP 998/2020) that changes several points in power sector legislations:

 - New criteria for auctions

- Allows to use R & D and EE funds to conta covid

- Reduces the discounts on usage tariffs for renewable energy

- Establishes the need to define ways to value the environmental benefit ofnew valorization mechanisms for renewable energy

- New financial structure for nuclear power plant Angra 3 -among others
