EU Hydrogen Strategy

Focus on renewable hydrogen due to compatibility with net zero goals and integration with the power sector. Strategy is divided in 3 phases with the first one (until 2024) targeting 6 GW of electrolysis and 1 mtpa, the second one (until 2030) targeting 30 GW of electrolysis and the third one without targets aiming for reaching technology maturity. It mentions that about a quarter of the electricity demand in 2050 is expected to be used for electrolysis
