New podcast episode focuses on risks to Ukraine’s energy security this winter

A new episode of the IEA podcast Everything Energy looks at what is needed to ensure Ukrainians have secure and reliable access to energy this winter as Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure grow in scale and sophistication. 

Now available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, the episode draws on the most recent IEA visit to Kyiv earlier this month. Talya Vatman, the IEA’s Caspian and Black Sea Programme Manager, shares what she heard from Ukrainians – including representatives from government and the energy sector – and highlights recent IEA analysis on how Ukraine and its partners can address the country’s urgent energy security vulnerabilities while bolstering the longer-term resilience of its energy system.
