Second meeting of Technology and Innovation Advisory Board meeting

The Technology and Innovation Advisory Board was established following support from Ministers of IEA Member countries at the 2024 IEA Ministerial meeting and agreement by the IEA Committee on Energy Research and Technology (CERT) later in 2024. Following its inaugural meeting earlier this year, this is the Advisory Board’s first in-person meeting and an opportunity for members to deepen discussions around the IEA’s work on technology and innovation. Discussion topics include the next edition of the IEA State of Energy Innovation Report, the forthcoming Energy Innovation Forum, which will be co-hosted by the IEA and the Government of Canada on 29 October 2025, and potential opportunities for the IEA to further increase its reach in the innovation space.
