IEA Workshop on Outlook for Coal Industry and Markets

Background

Organised by the IEA, hosted by Shenhua Group and supported by active participation from the IEA's Coal Industry Advisory Board, the workshop sought insights towards the IEA’s World Energy Outlook 2011 from high-level experts from industry, public policy and other relevant sectors about the forces that will shape coal’s role in the global energy mix.

The workshop was informal in nature and was by invitation only.
