7th IEA-IEF-OPEC Symposium on Gas and Coal Market Outlooks

The 7th IEA-IEF-OPEC Symposium on Gas and Coal Market Outlooks – jointly organised by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the International Energy Forum (IEF) and Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) – is part of the ongoing cooperation between the three organisations. The Symposium on Gas and Coal Market Outlooks takes place every two years and is hosted by the IEA, based on a mandate from G20 leaders.

The 8 October event follows the IEA-IEF-OPEC Symposium on Energy Outlooks, which took place in Riyadh in February, and the Joint IEA-IEF-OPEC Workshop on the Interactions Between Physical and Financial Energy Markets, which took place in Vienna in April. The three events are elements of the trilateral cooperation between the organisations on different aspects of the energy sector.
