Data compiled from national transmission system operators for European countries and the Energy Information Administration (EIA) for the United States (national data starting from the implementation of the first state-level lockdowns).

Notes

Temperature adjustment is based on heating degree days and applies to demand from distribution network. Daily data for Spain provides consumption data for power generation, conventional and trucks; daily breakdowns for industry and distribution are not available.
