Cost reductions are calculated as a function of cumulative installed capacity in 2018, projected capacity additions from the model and component-specific learning rates. Learning rates for heat pumps, automotive battery cells and fuel cells stacks: 10%. Learning rates for battery packaging and fuel cell balance of plant: 5%.
