In these graphs, peat and oil shale are aggregated with coal. Natural gas includes international aviation and international marine bunkers. Other includes geothermal, solar, wind, tide, etc. STEPS (Stated Policies Scenario) incorporates existing energy policies as well as an assessment of the results likely to stem from the implementation of announced policy intentions.
