The amounts shown are based on 2019 budgets for: Australia, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Slovak Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States (US) and the European Union (EU). For other countries, data refer to 2018. Data for the US were estimated by IEA Secretariat. EU refers to the EU budget under Horizon 2020, and not to the sum of national budgets of EU member countries.
