Rest of EU includes Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and other European Union members. Rest of Europe includes Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Moldova, Serbia, Türkiye and the United Kingdom. Methane intensity is calculated in energy terms as emissions from upstream operations divided by marketed fuel production volume, assuming methane has an energy density of 55 megajoules per kilogram (MJ/kg).
