Renewables includes mainly wind and solar resources. Due to its larger volumes, hydro is shown separately. Most of these utilities are geographically diversified. For example, utilities such as Iberdrola, EDP and ENEL have a strong presence in North America and Latin America, where the markets have different regulations and dynamics. Some European utilities also operate in the United Kingdom and some have a global presence. Most of these utilities are also integrated, giving them cash flows from activities across the value chain.
