The Energy Diversification Index stands as a reverse Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, computing the concentration of energy sources in each energy mix, namely coal products, oil products, natural gas, nuclear, hydropower and other renewable energy sources. It ranges from 0 (one energy source fuelling the whole energy system) to 85 (every energy source equally split).
