The IEA clean energy equipment price index tracks price movements of a fixed basket of equipment products that are central to the clean energy transition, weighted according to their share of global average annual investment in 2020-2022: solar PV modules (48%), wind turbines (36%), EV batteries (13%) and utility-scale batteries (3%). Prices are tracked on a quarterly basis with Q4 2019 defined as 100.
