Notes

Households’ “Average support to the policy” is measured as a normalised average of their responses. Respondents could select “strongly support” (equal to 5), “support” (equal to 4), “indifferent“ (equal to 3), “not supportive” (equal to 2), and “not supportive at all” (equal to 1). After computing the average for each policy, the score is normalised to be included between 0 and 1. This analysis only includes policy questions from the energy section of the 2022 EPIC survey (OECD, 2023).
