Mt H2 = million tonnes of hydrogen. Unabated fossil fuels include hydrogen produced with CO2 capture for utilisation without storage, such as in urea synthesis. Demand for aviation and marine fuel and power generation includes hydrogen that is converted to make low-emissions hydrogen-based fuels.
