The count identifies the number of countries with at least one energy performance regulation and renewable policy in force. Energy performance regulations include MEPS for lighting, space cooling, refrigeration, wet appliances, displays, cooking appliances, space and water heating, distribution transformers, industrial motors and cars. Renewable policies cover feed-in tariffs/premiums, renewable portfolio standards and net-metering.
