Compliance assumes exporters to the European Union, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea and China reduce the emissions intensity of exports to these countries to 0.2%. Spillover to all exports assumes exporters to the European Union, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea and China reduce the emissions intensity of all exports, regardless of destination, to 0.2%. Potential emissions reductions are estimated based on 2024 trade and emissions intensity data.
