Notes

Both medium and heavy freight truck sales are included. Historical values may differ from what was reported in the Global EV Outlook 2025 as access to more granular data allowed the reclassification of delivery vans and other vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes and above from light commercial vehicles to medium freight trucks, to match IEA definitions.
