Price data is adjusted for inflation. Price of electric cars in data has been increased by 10% to adjust for the registration tax exemption in China. The share of battery electric cars cheaper than their conventional equivalent is calculated as the number of car sales priced lower than the sales-weighted average price of the ICE car in their segment category
