                Sustainable Mobility Law

                Law 9/2025 establishes Spain’s national sustainable mobility framework. It creates planning and coordination instruments, requires workplace and activity-centre mobility plans, supports public transport and active mobility, reorganises transport governance, and integrates climate and energy objectives into mobility policy.

                Klimaaktiv mobil - active mobility and mobility management

                The klimaaktiv mobil fund focuses on supporting active mobility - cycling and walking - as well as mobility management. In 2025, numerous projects with a funding volume of around USD 61.6 million (EUR 56.7 million) (EUR 49.4 million national fund + EUR 7.3 million) EAFRD-European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) have been approved. The program will be continously implemented and further developed, in particular to build up and expand high-quality infrastructure for cycling and walking.

                Ethiopia E-Mobility Strategy and Implementation Plan

                The E-mobility Strategy (2025-2030) is a government-led roadmap to create a national charging network, mandating the availability of 1,176 reliable charging centers in Addis Ababa and 1,054 centers in regional areas by 2030. The programme involves direct government investment for the initial stages of infrastructure provision and targeted intervention in locations where private sector interest is minimal. Specific quantitative standards include placing one charging station every 50km on both sides of highways and at least one fast-charging station every 120km for heavy-duty vehicles like buses and trucks.Financial execution is supported through project…

                Italy's Piani Urbani della Mobilità Sostenibile (PUMS) are strategic plans mandated for municipalities with populations over 100,000. Aligned with EU guidelines, PUMS aim to develop integrated, sustainable urban transport systems that enhance accessibility, reduce environmental impact, and improve quality of life. These plans emphasize active public involvement, coordination with urban and environmental planning, and measurable outcomes to foster inclusive, low-emission mobility solutions.

                Klimaaktiv fund - E-mobility subsidies

                The program, initiated by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), aimed to promote the decarbonization of Austria's transportation sector by allocating €114.5 million in 2024.Key Aspects of the Program:Private Individuals: Eligible for subsidies when purchasing electric passenger vehicles (E-PKW), motorcycles, mopeds, light electric vehicles, as well as home charging stations (Wallboxes) and charging cables. Businesses and Organizations: Support extended to social institutions, taxi operators, driving schools, and car-sharing services for acquiring electric vehicles.                 Government spending in active mobility

                Spanish Government has allocated 40 million euros to promote active mobility: 20 million euros for public bicycle system and 20 million euros for electric bicycles for individuals and delivery companies, with the aim of facilitating the use of this means of transport for longer journeys.

                Incentive Program for Sustainable Urban Mobility (PrIMUS)

                The Sustainable Urban Mobility Incentive Program (PrIMUS) is aimed at municipalities with at least 50,000 inhabitants and provides 15 million euros for sustainable urban mobility actions on three themes: development of cycling infrastructure, mobility sharing and mobility management activities.
