As part of the National Resilience and Recovery plan (plan France Relance), the French government enacted specific measures in order to foster green mobility. As part of the French Resilience and Recovery plan, the French government allocated specific measures in order to foster green mobility. EUR 100 million will be dedicated to support heavy industrial vehicles (truck, bus, car) to switch from fossil fuels to electricity generation or hydrogen. As part of the French Resilience and Recovery plan, the French government allocated specific measures to foster green mobility. In order to develop a transport infrastructure in line with a sustainable transport sector, the government is investing EUR 550 million. 2022 round of subsidies for e-mobility
The Climate Protection Ministry (BMK) is providing a record sum of 167.2 million euros for the promotion of e-mobility in Austria for 2022. The amount comprises of 71 million euros for classic funding, 51.2 million euros to develop a new program for emission-free buses (EBIN), and 45 million euros for the new subsidy program for zero-emission commercial vehicles (ENIN). Law project for the Promotion of Sustainable Mobility
The Argentinian government put forward in October 2021 a law project to boost domestic production of electric vehicles.The law project foresees:- the creation of a 20 year- support scheme for electromobility, both for consumers and manufacturers - a ban on the sale of new ICE vehicles from 2041- procurement of large electric vehicle fleets, both for the Argentinian administration and for public transports-the establishment of a National Agency for Sustainable MobilityIts implementation is expected to generate around 21,000 new jobs by 2030, around USD 8,300 investments and should bring CO2e10,7 million tons in emission savings.

Recovery and resilience plan / Green mobility and infrastructure/ Resilience in Electricity Grids and Energy Transition in Rural Areas
As part of the French resilience and recovery plan, the French government allocated specific measures in order to foster green mobility and strengthen the resilience of the energy system. Among these measures, investments in electric grids in rural areas will increase in order to enhance resilience towards extreme climate events (heatwaves, storms, floods) and towards energy transition (renewable electricity and storage technologies). Overall, EUR 50 million will be allocated to this goal from 2021 to 2026.

Recovery and resilience plan / CTD / Sustainable mobility/ Reform of the transport ecosystem
Portugal's recovery and resilience plan is composed of 20 different components that are structured in three main dimensions (Resilience, Climate transition, and Digital transition). The dimension of climate transition includes four components that can be considered as directly relevant to the energy sector. This initiative is part of the component "sustainable mobility" (Component 15). The objective of the reform of transport ecosystems is to foster the use of public transports and sustainable mobility, and networks expansion. It is an orientation policy, supporting several initiatives that have been taking place since 2019.

Portugal submitted its recovery and resilience plan to the European Commission, as part of the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility. The plan is composed of 20 different components that are structured in three main dimensions (Resilience, Climate transition, and Digital transition). The dimension of climate transition includes four components that can be considered as directly relevant to the energy sector. This initiative is part of the component "sustainable mobility" (Component 15). To support the decarbonisation of public transports, EUR 48 million will be invested to purchase 145 clean vehicles and install the respective charging infrastructure.

Innovation and Acceleration Programme Electric Mobility (IAP)
The Innovation and Acceleration Programme Electric Mobility (IAP), an integrated research and innovation programme initiated by the Formula E-Team to advance reasearch on electric mobility. Under it is a network of 200 associated companies, knowledge institutes and authorities. High on the initial agenda are these subjects:
heavy duty commercial vehicles,
light electric vehicles, and
charging infrastructure and energy markets.
