Basic energy statistics for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates The World Energy Statistics online data service contains key energy statistics for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates. Data are provided in original units for the different types of coal, oil, natural gas, renewables and waste, as well as for electricity and heat. In general, data are available from 1971 (1960 for OECD countries) up to 2023 for all countries. For IEA member, accession, association and other selected countries, data are available up to 2024. Explore high-quality data on end-use energy prices and taxes This data explorer presents a selection of data from the End-Use Energy Prices data set, which provides end-use energy price data across sectors for 150 countries going back to 1970. It covers prices for gasoline, automotive diesel, natural gas, electricity, kerosene, LPG, fuel oil, coal and other products, updated annually, with more detailed data on end-use prices and taxes, updated quarterly, for OECD countries.

Monthly Oil Price Statistics
IEA Energy Prices - Monthly Prices Excerpt This dataset is updated once a month and includes monthly end-user total prices for transport fuels in selected countries, based on the IEA Energy Prices database.The complete IEA Energy Prices database database provides end-user prices by sector (industry, household, transport, commercial, electricity generation) and 20 fuels and energy carriers, for 150 countries, with weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly data. OECD countries data also contain details on the end-use prices taxation breakdown whenever available or applicable.The Prices team would welcome any feedback or answer questions at Prices@iea.org.

Pilot database on household appliances data for over 100 countries The Household Appliances database provides annual data on stock, diffusion and penetration of selected household appliances, including air conditioners, clothes dryers, clothes washers, dish washers, freezers, refrigerator/freezer combinations, refrigerators, personal computers and televisions. Data availability is uneven across countries, with gaps in time series and, in some cases, only a limited number of observations available for specific appliances or years. Energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates The World Energy Balances online data service contains energy balances for 156 countries and 35 regional aggregates. The figures are expressed in thousand tonnes of oil equivalent (ktoe) and in terajoules (TJ). Conversion factors used to calculate energy balances and indicators (including GDP, population, industrial production index and ratios calculated with the energy data) are also provided.
